The Marbella City Council is carrying out an accessibility and improvement plan for the tourism offices in San Pedro Alcántara, aiming to enhance the existing facilities and create a renewed, cultural, and contemporary space in an area currently in poor condition.

The new Tourism, Commerce, and Festivities Center of San Pedro Alcántara is a rehabilitation project designed to upgrade the current infrastructure, giving it greater municipal presence and offering improved services to a growing and increasingly selective tourism sector.

The redesign focuses on eliminating architectural barriers, creating a more accessible and welcoming environment.

The project also proposes an ambitious program for the space, including: a reception hall that doubles as an exhibition and interpretation room on the history of the San Pedro Alcántara Colony; a series of offices to accommodate the multidisciplinary team of Tourism, Commerce, and Festivities; and a new press room opening onto a naturally lit courtyard that will become the heart of the building — a subtle nod to Roman villa courtyards.
